The theme of this year’s Homecoming Dance was Once Upon a Time... A Fairy Tale Comes True. Many girls dressed in theme, wearing fairy or princess attire and one guy even showed up as Peter Pan.

Half way through the night, Kelly Johnson and Andrew Saurin took the spotlight as Homecoming Queen and King. The rest of the court included Joey Deaven and Muchelle Aver as Freshman Prince and Princess, Sean Lawrence and Shani Burdette as Sophomore Prince and Princess, Chris Cornejo and Kelly Liske as Junior Prince and Princess, and Erick Orozco, Peggy Sue Deaven, Matthew Case and Giuliana Gonella as the Senior Princes and Princesses.

The Dj kept the crowd going all night, with a wide range of music. The songs ranged from "Baby Boy" by Beyonce, and "Yeah" by Usher, to "I love Rock n Roll" by Joan Jett and "let’s Get it On" by Marvin Gaye.

When the clock struck twelve, everyone filed out the doors and into the rainy night. After the dance, many students hung out with their friends until early morning, to try to make the evening last as long as possible.

"The dance was a huge success," said Leadership advisor Sophie Sabbah. "Students seemed to be having a great time."
