On May 21^st, the Student Council held the second powderpuff volleyball tournament. This tournament began last year and the Student Council hopes to make it a tradition. Last year, the seniors were victorious, barely defeating the sophomore class of 2011 in the championship match. This year’s seniors were also victorious as they defeated the junior class of 2011 in a close championship match. The juniors came in second followed by the sophomores, and finally the freshmen. The juniors were very confident that they would be victorious this year because they came close to winning last year. However, this year’s senior class wanted to leave their mark by defeating the juniors. Next year’s powderpuff tournament should be interesting as the class of 2011 will have one last chance to take the title.
