On March 19 at 7:00 district started for the lady lions against the Marlin Bulldogs. The ladies played a great game, run ruling the Bulldogs in the 5^th inning 12-1. Senior Jordie Watson pitched through the fourth inning until she got a bloody nose when she ran into the third baseman after hitting the ball to short. Makenzie Calame stepped in and pitched the fifth and final inning. All of the ladies batted extremely well with Micah Sandlin leading in base hits. Each batter in the lineup is hitting the ball well which will be the key to the lady lions’ success if they keep the fielding errors to a minimum. On March 23 the ladies took on and lost to the Rosebud-Lott Panthers. The ladies made too many fielding errors which caused the panthers to run rule them in the fifth inning. The next district game is on March 26 against the Leon cougars so support your lady lions in Leon at 6:00.
