Spring break is only a few days away, so what do the students here at Teague High School have planned? Some students plan on taking trips, while others are stuck at home with the task of trying to find something to do.

Katie Burleson, sophomore, said that she wants to take a trip to Disney World over spring break. When asked why she wanted to go to Disney World she said “because Sarah has to cheer there and I’ve never been.” Katie was asked if she thought she would get to go to Disney World, she replied “yes! We leave Thursday!” with a smile on her face. She said that she’s never been there before and she’s very excited. Katie hates that spring break “only lasts a week” but she loves the fact that there will be “no school!” and that she’ll be “going to Disney World.”

Courtney Chandler, sophomore, said that she would love to take a trip “to outer space” because she’s “never been there”. Courtney said that she will hate “being grounded over spring break” because she may not get to fulfill her fantasy of going to outer space, but in her mind she will be on her way to the moon.

Jordan Atchley, sophomore, said that he would be going to Great Wolf Lodge over spring break. Jordan said that he would be experiencing the “Medieval Times” at the ever-popular “Medieval Times”. Jordan Atchley and his family are going to Shreveport to spend quality family time together. He says that he will enjoy “being away from the town of Teague” and he will hate when he has “to wake up on Monday morning for a long day of learning.”

So here are few ideas of how to spend your spring break. Just remember to be careful, and do not get into any trouble. Try to talk your parents into taking you on a trip somewhere and make the spring break memorable.
