Undefeated Boise State and TCU faced off in a battle of the unbeaten BCS Busters. TCU came into the game a favorite over the 6^th ranked Broncos. The winner of this game looked to finish with a perfect record. TCU did not start off as they would have liked; Andy Dalton’s pass was intercepted and returned 51 yards for a touchdown to put them down early in the contest. Neither team could muster an offensive touchdown until the final minute of the first half, when TCU's Andy Dalton hit Curtis Clay for a 30-yard score to make it 10-7 at halftime. TCU tied the game with a 30-yard field goal heading into the fourth quarter. The game appeared to be headed to overtime when Boise State reached deep into its bag of plays and pulled out a fake punt to setup what ended up to the game winning drive. TCU took possession on their own 1-yard line, down 17-10 with 1:06 remaining on the clock. TCU managed to march the ball to Boise State’s 30-yard line before Dalton’s pass was disrupted and intercepted ending the game.
