For Homecoming week at Chavez there was dress up days the whole week. So everyone had a chance to show there school spirit.

On Monday it was New York day. Not a lot of people dressed up for this day. The people that did dress up for this day dressed in high fashion.

On Tuesday it was California day. On this day most students wore Hollister, American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch.

On Wednesday it was Texas day. A whole bunch of people dressed up for this day. They mostly wore plaid shirts, cowboy boots and cowboy hats.

Thursday was Hawaii day. Not many people dressed up for this day. The people that did dress up for this day wore grass skirts and Lei’s.

Friday was a chance to sport your class colors. Freshman wore white. Sophomores wore gold, and juniors wore black. Seniors of course wore all of these colors. Many people wore there class colors and a lot of students made there own shirts.

“The experience was great because I love the energy in the room” said Anna Yos.

Homecoming week was full of spirit, although some people aren’t into it. It’s a great way to express yourself and get prepared for Homecoming.
