In this imaginative game world, there are no monkeys with bananas. Instead, there are monkeys with laser eyes, darts, and all sorts of weapons. All these monkeys have a common goal: to destroy balloons before they reach their destination.



Bloons Towers Defense 3 is an online strategy game and the third version of Bloons Tower Defense, created by Ninja Kiwi productions. There are four maps available with difficulty levels of easy, medium, and hard. The concept of the game is to build a defense of monkeys and their weapons before the balloons reach the end of a certain path. To beat the game, one must build a defense strong enough to hold through 50 levels given an amount of lives depending on the difficulty. Each time a balloon completes the path, a life is lost.



Monkeys and weapons can be purchased at a certain amount and upgraded for a superior performance and defense. Some of the monkey arsenal includes dart monkeys, tack shooters, cannons, super monkeys, and even a classified top secret weapon. Placing monkeys along a path may seem easy, but the strategy part comes in when the different types of balloons enter the map at different speeds. It is hard to decide at first what weapon would work best, but keep at it. Keep in mind that certain weapons are required to pop certain balloons.



The only downside to this game is the time it takes to save up money for super monkeys and upgraded weapons. Not until after the first ten levels does the game get interesting. However, 97% of 2,198 online players have rated the game as "I like it." After the 50th level, players can continue on in free play mode.
