IRVINE- Club Craze, held on October 16, featured various clubs on campus and encouraged students to join their groups on the outside stage at lunch. On October 17, Beckman held its annual Club Rush during lunch, in which students swarmed the clock tower to join clubs that interested them. Club Craze hooked most students' attention. With booming music and a buzzing atmosphere, more and more students' eyes zoomed in on the performances of Club Craze. Numerous clubs were visible, including Pink Ribbon Club, Media Arts Club, and many more. The clubs competed in games like water balloon tosses. Another performance that attracted students' interest was the dance by Susan Kim and Sally Park. They break-danced slickly and professionally along with funky music. Freshman Bora Lee remarked, "The dancing was nice, and the game was fun, too."

In terms of Club Rush, Club commissioner junior Katie Anas explained, "The purpose of Club Rush is to just allow students to see all the different possibilities of the clubs they can join and variety of students in campus." She thought that this year's result was very successful. "It ran very smoothly," she added. "We had almost twice as many clubs this year than last years," she continued. Freshman Luke Lim stated, "I joined Red Cross Club because it seemed interesting, and I wanted to help people who are in need."

The president of club Vision of Hope Dong Lu explained the purpose of her club, saying, "It's to help support our children's education in poverty nation." She said, "I wanted to continue my club because I wanted to expand the club this year because before it was only in China, like we only supported children in China but this year we are trying to go global." She declared, "My expectations are pretty big, because I wanna raise lot of money and support children in Africa and Asia."

With twice as many clubs as last year, Patriots had twice the opportunity to get involved in this year's Club Rush.
