Abuse is more common than you assume it is or what the doors try to conceal. The individual that sits right beside you may be faced with abuse on a regular basis. Threats and violence keep a victim quiet but the abuse occurs every 15 seconds. There are various ways of utilizing abuse as a tool, for instance: verbal, physical, and sexual abuse all form a daunting monster. Abuse is not a natural instinct we are born with; but a destructive detail we gained knowledge of. A teenager being exposed to any type of maltreatment can have a huge impact in his/her life given that they are still developing mental skills throughout the journey through adolescence.

Physical and verbal mistreatments are the two main key forms of abuse that become habits. The naked eye can not always comprehend physical abuse. Emotional abuse is challenging to define and in many circumstances, cannot be testified. Many structures of abuse have a consistent pattern, and if left untamed it will increase and intensify as time goes by. Many teenage students are verbally and physically abused inside and outside the gates of school and teenagers will not always admit to being abused. The teenager that encounters abuse will likely have problems with self- esteem, self assurance, sleeping disorders, socializing and depression.

The signs are not always are noticeable but the reactions are. Teenagers that have or are being abused are more likely to be involved in the use of drugs or become aggressive towards their peers. People are not born with cruelty in their genes it is something they pick up from someone along the way. A form of abuse will always have a big impact in your life and it is important for teens to speak up and get help regarding the issue.
