During seminar this past week, the three members of French Club’s executive board were announced. The leaders of the club will be junior, Mason Paul and seniors, Mallory Reader and Rebecca Scharf.

“I wanted to be on French Club’s executive board so we can expand the club and allow the school to learn more about the French culture,” Paul said.

Becoming a member of the executive board holds great responsibility, and a lot of time outside of school goes into the planning and organizing done by the board. Everything the club does throughout the school year is planned and run by the members of the board: this includes fundraising, activities, and field-trips.

“I am excited for the leadership opportunities,” Reader said.

Throughout the school year, the club also plans on becoming engrossed in the French culture, by doing things like cheese tasting and French food days, listening to French music, and watching French films.
