If you want to be in a fashion show, April 3, you don't have to be in the club to become a model. Practices are during lunch.

Christian Club

Christian Club is planning to start a study of the different denominations of Christianity.

Class of '08

Senior Class is currently working on setting up MORP which is supposed to take place Mar. 15. They are asking for more seniors to participate to ensure that everything goes as planned.

Class of '09

The junior class is currently planning senior prom. They are meeting every Thursday in R-18 to discuss the food, music, and design possibilities. There will be a meeting for all juniors Friday Jan. 11, 2008 after school in A-2 to finalize the decorations. The meeting will last for approximately one hour.

Creative Writing Club

Planning fieldtrip to John Steinbeck Museum and are accepting poems, drawings, photographs, short stories, and any other type of creative writing or artwork for their yearly magazine.

Dance

New dance floor and Mrs. Spector is still planning on doing her end of the year dance show; sometime at the end of May or beginning of June.

Drama

Currently funding and promoting the musical Grease. It will open the weekend of February 8 and continue till February 16.

French Club

French club will be selling Valentine’s grams as a fundraiser to pay for up coming events. The sale will start Jan. 28 and end Feb. 8. The grams will cost $2.50 and will come with white roses. French club will also be mainly sponsoring Mardi Gras on Feb. 5 for French students and club members only. They will donate $200 to pay for two large cakes, prices, and beads. The theme for this year’s event is the five main cities in France besides Paris.

Hmong Club

Hmong club picnic and new year.

HOSA Club

Currently no events.

Interact

The Interact club is currently planning their trip to Mexico during the Spring Break. The purpose for this trip is to build playgrounds for the less fortunate kids who do not have this equipment. They will be gone the second week of break participating in this event. Club members will also be fundraising to pay for the trip by selling cookies and other food categories.

Planning to go to the San Fransisco Zoo in the begining of February.

MESA

February 13th Participating in UOP Shadow day where students shadow college students.

Multi-Cultural Club

Starting January 26 will be practicing traditional dances for the culture assembly. All students that wish to participate are welcome to join. Practice for the international fashion show will begin on February 1 after school from 2:15 pm-3 pm.
