Spring is just around the corner; it’s time to start putting
away all those winter coats and boots and break out the capris and bright
colors. 2012 is a year for all new trends. The one’s trending right now on the
runway is pretty easy to keep up with. Neon colors are being seen in a lot of
designer collections, along with pastels. In Louis Vuitton’s spring 2012 show
the majority of clothes in the show were pastel, pretty, and looked like
princess clothing. Everything looked whimsical and reminiscent of spring. Color
blocking is also becoming a big thing too. Color blocking occurs when you take
colors that normally don’t go together and then put them together in blockish
styles (very self-explanatory). All these upcoming styles are very fun and very
easy for teens to do with the clothes they already own. Fun patterns and birds
are in style, at Old Navy they have cute shirts with fun patterns and some with
birds on them for pretty cheap. To keep up with the ever changing trends you
just have to pay attention. For most of them you just have to adapt your
everyday clothes to what you see in magazines like Vogue or Elle and then you
can be in style for spring 2012.
