Dressing up for Halloween or “All Hallows Eve” has been a tradition for many years that came from Celtics in Europe in the middle ages. In Arizona, there is no doubt that we take part in this occasion.
For this 2011 Halloween, we have a huge variety of costumes for residents of Globe. Frankie Estrada said,” I want to be either a lady bug or bumble bee for Halloween.” Most girls accomplish this style every year.
Arlene Tapia stated with no doubt,” I want to be the grudge!” Since the Grudge movies have become so popular, this costume with most likely become increasingly popular with any age group.
Teachers at Globe are excited to partake in this festive occasion as well as the students. U.S teacher Mr. Taylor stated,” I would love to be a Jedi Night for Halloween.”
Some students have been thinking long and hard about their costumes this year. to them, it is very important. “I'm going to be MacGyver.” stated Dakota Cline after a long thinking process.
Other students such as Callie Hatcher are going to put a lot of effort into their looks. She said,” I'm going to be Marie Antoinette. I'm going to do her look but put a very modern twist on certain aspects such as her hair and makeup.”
This festive occasion is not only for small children who want candy. It is for all ages to enjoy and to take part in being someone or something your not for a change.
