On Wednesday Jazmine Philpot, a Globe High School journalism student, had her article selected to be in the National Edition of my.hsj.com. Her article was about Globe High’s celebration and remediation program.
“I didn’t really know that it was going on until I got the certificate”, said Philpot.
“I feel that it’s an honor that my article can be shown in different states and schools”, said Philpot, who originally posted it on the online version of GHS News 4.
“I haven’t been on the computer to see it yet” she said, but she will be sure to check it soon.
When asked if she would like to get on the National Edition again she said, “I would because it would be cool to have other people seeing the articles I write and I hope the other students can have the same honor”.
