On the Razzle





  • The Clear Creek

    Theatre Arts Department presents the comedy, On The Razzle. Come

    see this hilarious farce on Oct. 26 and 28 at 7 pm. The cost is $5.00

    for students and $7.00 for adults.

Red Ribbon Week

    “Be like me stay drug free” Twin day




On Wednesday on the Main Campus

and Thursday at the NGC there will be a table set up for your pledge

to be drug free. Once you make the pledge you will receive a paw print

with your name on it to be put on the “Drug Free” banner displayed

on each campus. You will then also be issued a wristband that may then

be used for discounts at area businesses. There will also be CLEAR applications

as well as brochures and small items of interest.





Student ID Cards





  • OBJECTIVE: Every

    person on campus will wear an official ID card during the school day

    every day beginning November 1, 2006.


  • Students will get

    their 2007-07 ID card and clip during English classes on Oct 26&27.


  • If you are a dual-credit

    student go to B-100 to pick up your ID card.


  • If you did not

    get your picture made during school pictures you will be issued a temporary

    PINK ID. You will have one week to have a new ID made in the front office.

    Turn in the PINK ID to receive an ID at no cost to you.


  • ID cards will be

    made before/after school and during lunches in the front office daily.


  • If you forget your

    ID you may get a temporary ID sticker from your teacher







CREEK DEPOT



The CREEK DEPOT opens Monday,

October 23 in the Main Campus library - L107.



HOURS: Mondays and Wednesdays

2:45 - 4:15, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15 - 4:15



The Depot is an after school

tutorial program that is available to assist students in Math, Science

and English. Teachers from these subjects will be available to help

with homework or targeted TAKS support coming soon. All students

in all subjects are welcome to attend, but they MUST stay in the library

until 4:15 unless a parent comes to pick them up. A late bus will take

students to the elementary school nearest their Home. If students

do not attend the Depot the entire session, they will not be permitted

to ride the late bus. Creek Depot - You Can do it...We can help!

Space Center Job Fair



Space Center Houston will be

hosting a job fair on Thursday, November 2nd from 6:00 pm

to 8:00 pm. We will conduct open interviews that evening for the following

positions:

-Part Time Educational Programs

Helen Hall Library’s Teen

Advisory Board



Are you a teen that needs service

hours? Helen Hall Library’s Teen Advisory Board is a great opportunity

for students who need leadership/community experience. Meetings are

held twice per month, on the first and third Wednesdays of the month

from 7:30-8:30 P.M. The fall season ends with the December Library Open

House, for which teens will provide decorations and host craft tables

for children. Refreshments are always served at the meetings!





Paintball Club



The Paintball Club meets on

Mondays, from 2:45 to 4:30 in C-123, this Monday is a mandatory meeting

for all who wish to join.



D-Hall



D-Hall is held in T-Buildings,

T14
, and if you are late, you will not be admitted.
