Pokemon: Red & Blue (1996)

Pokemon took the world by storm with those first two classic colors. Pokemon are Pocket Monsters who dwell in the wild and are captured with Pokeballs, which are basically where they are stored until they are needed.

The games objective is to catch all 151 Pokemon to fill up your Pokedex. While catching all those Pokemon, one is challenged by many other Pokemon trainers. The player must defeat all of these Trainers to become a Pokemon Master.

The newest Pokemon game “Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon” has the player play as a Pokemon, as opposed to a Pokemon trainer. The game is being released in September.

Starfox 64 (1997)

The second in its series, this aerial combat game is definitely one of the classics of Nintendo 64.

The game is set around a mission to rescue the Lylat System from the evil Andross and his primate crew. With multiple game plays and different level paths, this game is most likely one of the games that launched video gaming into the main stream in the 90’s.

The new release from the Star Fox series is “Star Fox: Command.”

Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)

After four games of saving the princess and collecting the Triforce, Zelda makes its debut on the Nintendo 64 system.

Hyrule is in danger. The evil sorcerer Ganondorf has cast a shadow upon all of Hyrule destroying the peace that kept the land together. It is up to Link to travel through time to destroy all of Ganondorf’s soldiers and return peace to Hyrule. Don’t think you’re ending this game without a damsel in distress, because Princess Zelda soon gets captured making this yet another classic Zelda game.

The much anticipated “Zelda: Twilight Princess” is due to hit stores later this year.
