At the end of August students are getting ready for school and breaking out of their summer habits, but not the golf team. They are hard at work. The new coaches are helping the team prepare for tournaments and to improve their golf game. Who are these two new golf coaches? None other than Mr. Martinez and Mr. Brownschidle, both very nice and easy going guys, two elements that are required to be a golf coach.

“It’s a great time and we have great fun with the kids,” said Coach Martinez.

The team loves this new coaching staff. Mr. Brownschidle and Mr. Martinez love it. Sometimes they will even hit a couple balls with the team.

“We love Martinez and Brownschidle; they are great coaches and awesome to be around,” said Senior, Corey Firkin.

It looks to be another great year for the golf team and the coaches deserve much of the credit for their great direction and management of the team.

As of print, the golf team was second in the district.
