If you want to see a movie with great action and comedy, then The Green Hornet is for you.  After several recent films have been made about popular superheroes such as Superman, Batman, and Spiderman, a movie about a fairly unknown comic hero had large shoes to fill.  Despite this, The Green Hornet was an extremely entertaining movie that leaves viewers hoping for a sequel.

            There are several excellent comments to make about the movie such as the good acting,  the comedy scenes, and the intense moments of action.  Every actor in The Green Hornet seemed to be perfectly chosen by director Michel Gondry.  The combination of Seth Rogen and Jay Chou worked perfectly as the main characters Britt Reid and Kato, respectively.  The movie also had a great mixture of both comedy and action scenes.  Not only were all of the scenes that were meant to be comedic funny, but in many of the serious action scenes, short jokes provided great comic relief.  In between the jokes are action scenes that can be simply described as awesome.  The most impressive aspect of The Green Hornet, however, was its ability to always keep the viewer interested.  Once the movie gets going, it never slows down until the credits start rolling.  The only negative to the film is that it has a generic plot line, but even then, not everything turns out the way the viewer thinks it will.  The Green Hornet gets a solid 4 out of 5 Panther Paws.
