The Talented Arts Program held The Talented Visual Arts Reflections Exhibit on Tuesday December 8, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Northshore’s old wood shop was transformed into a first rate art gallery. It was adorned with Christmas lights and a banner that read, “Talented Visual Art.” The guests were also greeted with refreshments and music that added to the festive atmosphere. This exhibit featured self-portraits painted by the students. The students’ recent art projects were hung on large display boards. Monica Sicomo, a junior at Northshore and a talented art student, said, “I am glad that I have an opportunity to display my art.” It was very apparent that all the students took pride in their hard work. Jessica Weems, the talented art teacher, stated, “I’m very proud of all my students, and I believe that the exhibit portrays all of their hard work and talent.” The exhibit was a refreshing insight to the talent of Northshore students.
