As Northshore High School students and faculty were arriving to school on December 8, they were greeted by huge puddles and massive flooding on the streets and in the school parking lots. It was scheduled to rain all day, but no one thought that the roads and ditches would fill up with water as quickly as they did. Almost all the roads leading up to the school had a section of deep water that students, parents, and the faculty had to drive through; anyone with a small car could have ended up in some serious trouble with all the extreme flooding. The traffic produced was a nightmare and caused students to be late for school and parents to be late for work. Even as this article was being written, the rain continued to pour down onto Northshore, flooding the parking lots and streets. Who knows, maybe NHS will even become the next Atlantis.
