Today in our society, bullying is one of the largest high school problems.

It seems that everyone either bullies or is bullied. There is no reason why bullying should ever occur. Everyone should show respect and care about each others’ feelings.

If bullying occurs, many problems can and will occur. Fights will break out, arguments will happen, causing fights, and worst of all, school shootings can occur. Every school strives to have a reputation for having low amounts of bullying and fights, but students seem to strive to do the opposite.

If a person sees someone getting bullied, they should tell them to stop. But this isn’t the case, unfortunately.

Instead of telling the bully to stop, most of the time they just sit back and watch, like they are watching a movie. This doesn’t help the issue of bullying; instead it promotes it.

Students should stand up for the person being bullied because it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. It is especially worse when no one stands up for you; you feel like everyone is against you and you just want to hide under a rock for the rest of your life.

If the bully puts himself in the shoes of the person being bullied, they would act totally different and would stop bullying.
