Hollywood mastered a movie that includes romance for ladies, and blood-shed for                                                                                     guys.
The    highly antic-ipated movie, The Hunger Games came to theatres with high expectations, and left fans with mixed emotions.
The movie The Hunger Games is based off the futuristic story of a country named Panem,  by  the author Suzanne Collins.
In the books, two tributes from each of the 12 districts are selected to compete in a competition to the death, where one victor reigns supreme at the end.
Once the tributes arrived in the capital, fans began to have conflicting views on how the film makers told the story.
It makes sense that the film makers needed to change particular moments in the film to make them less horrifying, but some of those moments are what define the story.
If I had not read the books beforehand, I would have been utterly confused as to what was going on during the flim.
Since most of the story takes place within Katniss’ mind, it is nearly impossible to portray this on a big screen.
Though most of the additions were made for clarity, and created an appealing scene, it just would be confusing for those who had not read the books.
Various scenes were added while The Hunger Games were taking place between President Snow and Head Gamekeeper Seneca Crane.
The scenes were worthwhile because they showed that the other two storylines and explained why the heroine Katniss was being sabotaged throughout the movie.
Overall, The Hunger Games film adaptation was an admirable attempt at making a movie as successful, and interesting as the books were created.
