Filly Football is something North Harford looks forward to every year. This year, it will be held Friday, November 5.

   Ms. Fellenbaum will be the coach for the juniors team. The senior coach has not been officially chosen yet. Ms. Fellenbaum stated, “I hope we have good weather this year. Last year we had a lot of problems with that and as a result there wasn’t a big crowd.” Last year, the Filly Football game had to be postponed to the spring.

   The Filly Football game is always accompanied with the cheerleading team made up of guys. There has been some concern since the last football game of the NH Hawks season in on the same day as the Filly Football game and many of the cheerleaders have been on the football team in the past. Many girls want to sign up to be on the teams.. Junior, Clare Dowley said, “Filly Football sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I can’t wait! The game will be held on Friday, November 5 from 2:45- 3:45 PM in the stadium. Admission will be $5 and all proceeds go to the prom. Forms to participate can be picked up outside room B209.
