Mr. Ed Herbold, the principal of North Harford High School, takes great interest in his school, students, and staff.

Herbold expects all positive things to come out of this school year. As a great school already, he expects that North Harford can only get better, including higher GPA’s and test scores, increased enrollment and interest in advanced placement classes. He is anticipating sports teams to win state championships, to hear great concerts, to view great artwork, and to watch great dramatic productions. He would also like to see students really engaged in and loving school.

Herbold wants students to know that it is of great importance that they get a good education, and to want it for themselves. “At North Harford we have the teachers that can give that great education, but the students need to get excited about learning for their teachers to really be excited about teaching them,” said Herbold.

Herbold has told his staff, “to love our students and to do everything we can to help them be successful.” He expects the teachers to hold all students accountable, and for the students to hold the teachers accountable, and expects that everyone works together as a team.

Herbold said he would not make any significant changes.  “Why change something that is already going so well.”

On one final note Herbold says, “I look forward to seeing and experiencing the students accomplishments and growth.”
