Ka Lia Vang, 10th grader at Luther Burbank High School, had a bad Halloween a couple of years ago when she was in 5th grade. She went to trick or treating with her friends and sisters, and as she walked down the street, her bag got lighter and lighter. She asked, "How come my bag keeps getting lighter?" Then her sister told her, "your bag is ripped and you are dropping all your candies on the side of the side walk". She went back and picked all of her candies up. Her sister and friends ditched her and she had to catch up with them. she say that it was so sad that her bag was ripped and that she had to hold the bag with two hands for the rest of the night.

An anonymous source said that she had a bad Halloween day because she went trick or treating with her friends and they were chased by a dog. They ran about 2 blocks and hide in someone's backyard.

Mai(Lydia)Yang, a student from Sacramento City College who used to attend Burbank, says that she went trick or treating with her friends and they both walked to a house that had decorations and that a guy from that house jumped out of the side door with a scary mask and scared them. Mai was so scared that she hit the guy on his  head with her basket and they ran away, dropping all of their candies at the house.

Jackie Yang, an 8th Grader from Rosa Park Middle School, says that he was walking with his mom, brothers, and his friends. They went to a house that was kinda dark and he didn't know that there was a fake crying bird in the cage in front of the door. When he walked towards it with his friends, he heard the fake bird cry and then he got scared and ran straight to the car.

Alicia Yang, a sophomore student at LBHS says that she had a bad Halloween day last year because she went trick or treating with her cousins and aunts. They went to a house that was really big and they clicked on the door bell. An old lady came to open the door. Then they were about to say "Trick or Treat" but a dog ran to the door and barked at them. They got scared and ran away. The old woman followed them and told them to come back and she gave them candies because her dog scared them.
