October 23, 2009 was Luther Burbank High School's first 2009-10 food fair. It was crowded and a lot of movement was going
on. Students still attended with or without money trying out all the foods at
the food fair. Most people were excited because that was the first one. There were many varieties that nobody wanted to miss out on: Carmel apple, Pizza, Lumpia, Jamba Juice and more that you would have missed out on if you didn’t
come.
Zoua Yang, senior in SLC 7, said that
"the food faire is alright it’s not the best." She wants to see different kinds
of cultural food, so it will is better than just ordinary food that you
see. She doesn’t like the crowdedness of the food fair “because you can’t
even walk by without being push out and stepping on people’s feet”. She doesn’t
expect much from it but some very good food. She’s not excited about the food
fair because she is a senior and she been to the food fair for quite a while. Freshman Ghaozong Vang, slc 5, expected some Chinese food. Her
expectations were just to try all the food she can buy, since she is new to the
food faire. She’s very excited because it’s a new thing for her since she’s new
to Burbank.
Students at Burbank:
“we want food! we want food!” (^_^).
