Thanksgiving is on November 26th this year. Students at Crest Ridge are doing a variety of things this holiday break, and are excited for the break from school.
Freshmen Carmen Cox is going to two family reunions. She is excited to see all of her family again, and she is hoping that the weather will be nice because she wants to go camping. She is also going to enjoy her time off to relax and read a good book.
Dexter Vandeventer is going to sit at his parents’ house and watch television. He said that his break is going to be pretty boring, but that he is going to enjoy the big meal his mom will cook on Thanksgiving afternoon. “Her cooking is always good,” stated Dexter.
Senior Ashley McFarland said, “When is Thanksgiving? It’s October!” Ashley is going to enjoy her time to kick back and relax over the break. She is also going to hang out with some friends and have some fun.
When the holidays roll around we are all excited to get the time off from school, and to just be able to relax. Thanksgiving break will be enjoyed by all.
