Crest Ridge Football Senior Night was held Friday October 16, 2009. The senior football players were introduced before the game and escorted onto the field by their parents. This year there were seven senior boys on the football team: Matt Scherer, Kyle Shull, Ben Owens, Matt Johnson, Parker Schnell, Bradley Issetts, and Dylan Hamiln. In the past, junior football players gave gifts to the senior football players, but this year the seniors didn’t receive gifts. The senior football players were recognized before the game.

Cheerleading Senior Night was also held October 16,2009 at the home football game. The cheerleaders were recognized at half time and walked out on the field: Brooke Simmons and Emily Kleoppel.  The senior mascot was also recognize, Dakota Herpst. The cheerleading squad bought each of them gifts for being seniors. The squad bought Brooke a Mizzou snuggie and two gold fish (Lil B’ and Esther which have both since passed away) The squad also bought Emily a purse and a scarf. All three seniors were very gracious of there gifts.

Band’s Senior Night was also held Friday October 16, 2009 at the home football game. They senior band members performed with the rest of the band at halftime and then were announced following their show. The senior band members include Tyler Murphy, Caleb Chase, Andrea Gillotti, Catherine Deck, and Brandi Self. All of the senior band members received gift bags with candy in it for their four years of membership and hard work so far this year.

The Volleyball team had Senior Night October 20, 2009 at the home volleyball game. The game was a varsity double-header against Green Ridge and Lone Jack. The senior volleyball girls include Ashley McFarland, Ashton Doak, Amanda Locke, and Arial McGirl. The junior volleyball girls got the senior girls gifts and the volleyball team signed cards for them all. The seniors were announced between games and given their gifts by the juniors.
