Over the past two days, many students from each class have been making predictions regarding which grade will win events such as the basketball shootout, the tricycle relay, or the tug-of-war.

However, a very important event that people should be asking about is the construction of the class walls.

Several members from each grade filed into the upstairs gymnasium to design a section of the wall based on their class theme.

"Our grade's three years of experience is definitely a huge advantage," Meredith Fierro, senior class secretary, told The Tiger Transcript. "As we haved learn from our mistakes, we were able to build a larger and more unique wall."

Although the Senior's 1990's music theme was very creative, the Junior's Fenway Park construction seemed to be more appealing to public viewers.

Mrs. Perakis, a Freshman class advisor, said “The Seniors have done a remarkable job, but the Junior's replica of Fenway seemed more intricate and topical."

Even though the Junior's wall was very detailed and precise, it's still uncertain that they will win this event.

Alexandra Manos, a student council member, said "I feel that we did a very good job following our construction plan, but I think it will be difficult for the judges to decide which wall is best."

While it may seem that only the Juniors and Seniors are competing against each other for first place, the underclassmen appeared to be very confident and posed.

Paige Demarco, a committed freshman assistant, said, "Our wall is truly amazing. It features important stories related to the color green, including the Boston Celtics World Championship."

Members from the Sophomore class felt that their "Stairway to Heaven" theme was very imaginative and original.

Ken Donnelly, a tenth grade student, revealed: "Our wall was very peaceful, sparkly, and colorful. It seemed to be very different from the Senior's construction, as their's was very dark and antiquated."

With high standards being set by each class, this event may be the closest finish in spirit week history. The only thing that each grade can do is await the judges' final decision and hope for the best.
