Waking up to attend school as a student every day is hard enough; waking up to teach while being pregnant must be even harder. Sophmore counselor Mrs. Morgan and Language Arts teacher Mrs. Tacla have been expecting throughout the school year.
Their fellow staff members are looking forward to welcoming two new "Thunder babies" to the RHS family. This is what Rocklin High has called the children of staff members since the school's opening in 1993.

“Sometimes [teaching] was really hard, especially earlier. I didn’t have that long left, but it was really difficult sometimes,” said Tacla.
Mrs. Tacla impressively taught all year, while coaching swim.
“This year is my first with her. She’s really tough, but she’s gotten nicer throughout the year,” said junior Ji Hye Ju.
While planning Friendship Day, the Peer Counseling staff surprised Mrs. Morgan with a baby shower.
“We’re all really excited and happy for her,” said Annie Ellis, sophmore Peer Counselor.
Mrs. Morgan has continued as the Sophmore counselor and Peer Counseling advisor, and even proctered AP tests, despite her pregnancy.
