To all students, staff members, and Savage supporters, welcome back to another great year here at LHS. We hope that your first weeks here have been a bright beginning to what will be one of the best years of your life. We have many plans for this year, and we hope that you have already noticed some changes around the school.

We are devoted to obtaining your ideas and opinions, which is why this year we have placed a suggestion box at the office. This box is your opportunity to openly speak to the student council about any problems, opinions, ideas, and other things you may have on your minds. We are here for you, so utilize us as well as the other student council members. Together we can make this a year to remember.

Student Council is now working on our biggest project of the year – Homecoming. We hope to see all of you at the parade, Pow Wow and dance. One thing we would ask of all of you is for your participation, spirit, and as always we hope you display your Savage pride at every opportunity. Student Council meets every other week at 7 a.m. on Wednesdays, and all meetings are open to the student body so please feel free to drop in some time and see what we are all about. We are a student government and we want you to feel comfortable looking to us for support. All we can promise is our best.

During Homecoming we will be selling old uniforms, so make sure you stock up on some awesome Savage apparel for the upcoming games. Look forward to more fundraisers, too. We hope you have a fun year.
