Livingston Academy and all other Overton County schools were closed Thursday and Friday, February 10 and 11, and again closed on Friday, February 18 all for severe sickness in the schools. As the Flu bug bites it's hardest the schools have taken a huge hit. The number of missing students increased each day the first week. After coming back after the short break, those who had not been sick before caught it from those who were still getting better. Thus the number of missing students was still as high as ever. People just kept getting sick due to students coming to school ill fearing getting behind in their classes. As schools are to go back tomorrow, I hope everyone is feeling better!
