The TennesseeTitans are coming off an excellent, yet disappointing season lastyear. They had thirteen wins and only three losses, but they lost inthe first round of the playoffs to the Baltimore Ravens. Over theoff season, Jeff Fisher and the Titans acquired veteran wide receiverNate Washington to help a young receiving core. He will give KerryCollins a more reliable target in third down and other situations.

The main challenge for the Titans this year will be replacing Albert Hainesworth on the defensive front. He was a force last year both physically and mentally. He departed after last season for the Washington Redskins. One man that will be picking up some of the slack will be Tony Brown, a very talented player looking to leave his mark on the team. Overall the Titans are returning 20 of 22 starters this year.

Through thefirst 3 games of the pre-season, the Titans are 2 and 1. The oneloss coming to Dallas last week. The offense has struggled early inthe games. The first string defense is also having trouble makingsolid tackles. Hopefully after the last two pre-season games, theTitans will be a better team than they were last year. If they don'twin the Super Bowl and get a ring, this season will likely beconsidered another disappointment.
