Students and teachers donated over four-hundred glasses to care for Kenya to help the people who live in the Nyando District in Kenya. 
                Project Love formed the Care Kenya organization. Junior Morgan Leaventon initiated the project with help from the staff members.
                "I wanted to do something to show Revere how to make a difference. I was asking about Project Love and [RHS guidance counselor] Weigand asked what projects I could do to make a difference," Leaventon said. 
                Weigand helped Leaventon get the word out to the rest of the student body.
                "We. . . [had] the posters around the school to get students to donate lightly used glasses," Weigand said.
                Senior Sam Murphy contributed several pairs of classes for this project.
                "My dad is an eye doctor, and patients came in and [gave] him their old glasses, and he [put] them in a box until they [were] ready to be given away," Murphy said.
                Leaventon enjoys the result of her effort with the project and seeing the difference that she and other donators have made.
                "I got a card from one of the organization doctors with a picture of one of her favorite patients, that was really powerful," Leaventon said.
                Students and staff collected approximately 400 glasses to Kenya through this project.
