Woodard Photographic utilizes both indoor and outdoor sets for photo sessions at their location on Cleveland-Massilon Road - Caitlin Schweikert

Woodard Photographic is giving current juniors the opportunity to be selected to become  2010 class representatives for their schools.

Woodard Photographic professionally photographs students for their senior pictures. The  class representative program is run every year and allows current juniors from multiple different high schools to take their senior pictures during their junior year. A student could be nominated to become a class representative or sign up forms are available online or by phone.

A Woodard representative said that a class representative receives two free sessions, one during the winter of his or her junior year and one optional outdoor session during the summer.

The indoor winter session is 90 minutes long and includes an unlimited number of outfits. Props are encouraged as well as friends, family, and even pets to be part of the photographs at no extra cost. Junior Kelsey Garman became a 2010 class representative in February.

“I liked how I could take as many outfits as I wanted . . . and I got to take a friend. Katie Schaefer came with me, and since we both love country music, we did a cowgirl theme and wore our boots,” Garman said.

Students receive special benefits for being chosen as a class representative.

A Woodard representative said that when a student is chosen to be a class representative, he or she receives a twenty percent discount on what he or she purchases, and with the student’s permission, their pictures are posted on the Woodard Photographic website and used for marketing.

Junior Nicole Clark also signed up to become a 2010 Class Representative.

“I like that my picture could be used in a catalogue of what Woodard offers,” Clark said.

Class representatives symbolize their schools and promote the Woodard studio.

“I hope to represent the school in the most respectable way I can. I hope Woodard will think of Revere as a fine, respectable school,” Clark said.

Woodard Photographic takes all of Revere’s school photos; however, students have the option of going to other local photography studios with class representative opportunities. Nominations and signups for the Woodard Photographic class representative program began in December and will go through the first two weeks of April.
