My brother recently had an embarrassing experience that could have been dangerous. Maybe it will help you in your decisions of what to do for fun and discourage you to ever be in a deserted park in the middle of the night. You might not believe me, but it really happened.
One night Devin was going to play night games with some of my other brothers, Ryan and Jeff, and a few friends. He hadn’t been listening to where they would be playing, so after work he went to my Jeff’s house, because that was where they usually played.
When he drove up and no one was there, he decided to go to the park to see if they had gone there to play.
As he drove up, he saw a car that looked a lot like Jeff’s car. He failed to see that the sticker in the back of Jeff’s car wasn’t there. He also failed to notice that there was only one car, and there would have had to be more if this was where there were playing.
Devin thought that they were playing a game called Sardines. In this game someone is ‘it’, and they go hide somewhere. Everyone else then tries to find them. When they find them, they lay down next to them. Soon it is like a can of sardines.
Devin began to look around for people who might be hiding. He saw somebody lying next to a building, and went and lay down next to him.
After a moment, the guy rolled over and said, "Dude, who are you?"
It turned out it wasn’t Jeff at all, but a couple making out in the dark!
Devin was so embarrassed. He quickly jumped up, got in his car, and drove away. He noticed that soon after he left, they jumped in their car and drove away.
That is why you should never be lurking in dark parks, and you should always pay attention to details.
