Rallies have always been a time where we as students can show our Viking pride. But due to the resent changes the school has made to rallies, almost half the school can’t attend.

Over 900 students were disappointed at the homecoming rally.-not because it was bad, well they really wouldn’t know; they didn’t get to see it.

Almost half the students were not allowed into the rally due to a maximum capacity limit of 1100.

School officials were placed at the doors told students they weren’t allowed in. It is a first come first serve bases.

The 900 students left out were outraged to say the least.

When asked how he felt about being left out of the rally “I was kind of ticked off because, well rallies are fun” said senior Jacob Sterle.

Students at PV feel very strongly about this issue. Some say they may just skip 2nd or 3rd period to attend the rally.

“Fire regulations state the gym is only cleared for 1100 people, there’s nothing we can do” said Principal Steve Connelly.

Other teachers support the decision, to an extent.
