We all have had a crush on someone we have no chance with but can’t help but be attracted to, and daydream about. Someone who has fame and notoriety -- a celebrity! Josh Depina, 16, from Boston Community Leadership Academy, says he has had a crush on Rihanna for an extended amount of time. “She is different, she has red hair,” says Depina. If he could take his celebrity crush anywhere, Depina says he would take her to France. “Paris,” says Depina, “and tell her that she’s got a nice body.” Depina says he would love to be Drake, who has been linked to both Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Jasmine Rosa, 16, from BCLA, says that her celebrity crush is Orlando Bloom because he has an English boy style. She says she’d go to the Eiffel Tower with him and request a French kiss. Still, Rosa says: “I wouldn’t want to be any celebrity because everyone is equal and I wouldn’t change my life for anyone else’s because that’s what makes me who I am.” Sabrina Abanoor, 13, from the Timilty Middle School, says that she loves Bruno Mars because he has a different sense of style in clothing, she enjoys his music videos, and he always brings people together. “If I saw Bruno Mars in my casual day just chillin’,” says Abanoor, “I would jump up and down, then try to get a hug from him.” If she had her way, she, too, would travel to France with her celebrity crush. “Paris would be a nice scenery to say ‘I love you,’ ” says Abanoor, “and that’s what I would say to Bruno Mars if I got a chance to meet him.” ■
