Editor’s Note: Last year The Tank resurrected a tradition from the Tank staffs of years gone by with class superlatives.  This year’s results certainly didn’t disappoint, so enjoy the the results voted on by and about the Class of 2014.

Most of the upperclassmen think of the freshmen class as a group of shy, soft spoken individuals. They tend not to say much, and they don’t show any individualistic personality traits right off. However, the Class of 2014 seems to have shattered that notion, especially with the results of their superlatives.

13. Most likely to be the next Steven King- Michael Zittritsch
14. Most likely to be the next Van Gough- Caitlin Mullins
15. Most likely to become a teacher- Carley Kemper
16. Most likely to be a game show host- Krystal Brier
17. Most likely to create new technology- Nathan Neal
18. Most likely to be the first person to live on the moon- Brandon Simmons

23. Most likely to be a model- Jordan Brazeel
24. Most likely to cover themselves in tatoos- Caleb Quigley

This year Freshman Jordan Brazeel was  voted ‘Most Likely to be a Model.’ Upon hearing the news, Jordan said “This made my day! It’s not every day you just win something like this and if you do, it sure feels great.”

While some of the freshmen were glad to win in the aesthetic or material categories, two freshmen in particular won in much deeper categories and had a chance to be recognized for what was in their hearts.

Freshman Brennon Hargrave won Most Likely to create a New Religion. And that result may not be too far off the mark. “I feel pretty good about winning it, what with my dad being a preacher and all. It was definitely unexpected though,” Brennon said.

Another freshman, Donya Baker, was voted Most Likely to Save a Third World Country. And she is pretty satisfied with that. “I would do that, definitely. I care about other people. I don’t believe that there is any superior country, and I think everyone is equal--even people in third world countries.”

So maybe the freshmen this year aren’t as outspoken as we’d all like. But with these results in mind, it seems as if they may have a pretty good idea of who they are after all. And who knows? Maybe, once they’re up and out of here, they will go on to do some great things...maybe even the things they were voted for.
