Seniors Displeased With Graduation! Tuesday, January 18, 2011 By Sophomore Dillan Klindt [ArticleImageHyperLink] Advertising As some of us may already know, graduation has been delayed by a little over a week because of the early graduation last year caused by snow days. Many Seniors are very upset with the idea of having to wait longer until their day to graduate comes. Although a little over a week may not seem like it is that, long and not that big of a deal, many Seniors are displeased with the decision. Senior Victoria Morales said,”I do not think it is  fair that this year’s graduation got pushed back. Every year the seniors have gotten out days before everybody else. I think they should of kept last years graduation date the same as this years graduation date.” While many are upset with the graduation date, others have not let it get to them or bother them. Senior Lizzy Yeager said,” It really does not bother me. It is what it is and cannot be changed. I guess I will just have to accept it and get over because all I can do is just wait until that day comes and I can move on with my future education.” Graduation throughout the years has been a thing to look forward to and something to be happy about. Seniors are still looking forward to graduation, but they do argue it is unfair. Senior Jordan Clough said,”I think it is unfair because it seems like our grade gets the short end of the stick. Everything changes starting with our grade. I feel that as a senior we deserve to get out earlier than everyone else. The school has with all the past classes so why not ours?” Like it or not, the graduation date will be May 22 and that is the date all seniors can agree they are looking forward to.
