What are the odds of someone getting into the National FFA Chorus? Well, there are 507,763 student members in FFA in 7,439 local chapters. The chorus members are chosen out of 150 or more applications. In orderto get an application in, students have to be chosen by their stateassociations.

Senior Tyler Tvrdy of Cameron High School received the honor of going to sing in the National FFA Chorus. He sent his audition tape in June since they were due on July 1st. He was accepted into the chorus in August and will be performing as a tenor in the chorus. He is singing with a group of 81 other people who were chosen, and he could also get a solo which will be auditioned for three days before the convention.

"Ithink it's a good honor for him," said FFA Sponsor Ron Alden. Mr. Aldenalso has Tyler as a student, and Tyler is Mr. Alden's only student inhis career who has had this honor.
