On April 18th, 2009 the CHS prom was held for the first time in Plattsburg at the community center. Prom was held from 8-11p.m. The boys and girls showed up all fancied up. All students danced the night away to the music and then it was off to After Prom which was held from 12-3a.m. At After Prom there was free pizza, pop, cotton candy, snow cones, free prizes, a mechanical bull, inflatable opsticle course, video games, and more.

Clint Korneman said, "I thought prom was pretty cool. I knew all of the music that was played, so that's a plus. I actually thought After Prom was a lot of fun."
 
Jessie Blanton said, "I thought the food was good. My date was awesome, but the music could have been better."
 
Allison Zeikle said, "I thought prom was awesome! It was so much fun!"
 
Garrett Uthe said, "One word FUN!!!"
 
Nicole Firth said, "Prom was fun! It has been better in the past though."

The junior always decorate for prom.

 
Kyla Cooper said, "I thought the juniors did an awesome job. The place was gorgeous, and it was definitely tons of fun!"
 
Darren Adams said, "It was actually pretty good."
 
Josh Barnes said, "Prom was fun, it was really HOT though."
 
Caroline Lowenstein said, "It was a lot of fun!"
 
Sawyer Marlay said, "I thought prom was awesome. I can't wait until next years."
