The results of the Physics Bowl have been announced, giving large recognition to the students at Arrowhead.

The Physics Bowl is a competitive physics exam, (comprised of two parts, the first sixteen questions of basic physics, and questions sixteen through fifty of advanced placement physics.)

The Arrowhead physics component of the science team took an astonishing first place in the regional Physics Bowl, which included Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. Thirteen Arrowhead students took the test. The top students included Ken Leedle, Bryan Reuther, Dawn Lammert and Ryan Dwyer.

Not only did Dwyer do well for his school, but out of the thousands that took the exam he was the second highest scoring individual in the four state region, making him the top dog of physics.

When speaking of his accomplishments, Dwyer speaks very humbly. “I am proud of my achievement,” says Dwyer, “but the best part is having my name on Kaiser’s board.”

Through their accomplishments, the Arrowhead physics team won a $100 gift certificate from FREY Scientific, which can be used towards more physics equipment and a one year membership for Mrs. Kaiser (the advisor) to the American Association of Physics Teachers Organization, valued at $100. This is a real treat to Mrs. Kaiser, who pays for the membership out of her own pocket. The top scorers at Arrowhead will also receive some spiffy t-shirts.
