Leah Cull, teacher of Family and Consumer Education said, “The World of Children’s class is offered to freshmen and sophomores. Students learn about children ages 2, 3, 4, and 5.”

For the month of May The World of Children’s class is offering story hour.

Cull said, “The last two-weeks we have been preparing for story hour. It [story hour] takes place every Friday in the month of May,” Cull went on to say, “The themes this year are transportation, garden, farm, and underwater.”

Kari Streitenberger, a sophomore said, “It is a good class for when you are baby-sitting or later in life when you have children.”

Cull said, “The goal is for the students to understand how to relate to children; know the ages of kids and the different activities that would fit that age group. Students and the children alike have a blast!”
