Arrowhead supports many clubs and intramurals for students attending the school. Clubs like Niche, Ski club, Earth club, Deca, and others are part of the 33 clubs that Arrowhead offers. Whether you like business or crafts, Arrowhead probably has a club that relates to your favorite hobby. Unless you enjoy action gun sports, such as paintball, airsoft, and laser tag. Paintball and airsoft are both unfamiliar sports for the Midwest, but are rapidly growing with new stores and fields opening up all the time. Junior Hunter Clark said “I wish there was a club for Airsoft at Arrowhead, we have a student run Facebook group, but it just doesn’t have enough backing to get events started.”

Although not as prevalent as in other states, airsoft definitely has a presence in Wisconsin and has enough of a following at Arrowhead to warrant the creation of an action gun sports club. The group could go to events or have their own gatherings of laser tag, paintball, or airsoft weekly or biweekly and would be a wonderful opportunity for otherwise “unplugged” students that do not attend any extracurricular activities to find a niche and hobby that they enjoy.

 Once a student finds a sport that they prefer they would be able to connect with other students that prefer the same sport. By finding friends and teammates with the same passion students would become more involved and would eventually start going to events with other player from the group without needing the assistance of the actual club.
