“I was so nervous!” says freshman, Rachel Kornutski. “I didn’t know what to expect!”

            What were Kornutski, and all other freshmen, nervous for? Her first final exams in high school.

            “I wasn’t too nervous, but I didn’t know what to expect,” says freshman, Kayla Tillisch. 

            Both freshmen sought advice from older students, but didn’t get any satisfactory study tips.  Tillisch asked her sophomore friends what final exams were like, but none of them could remember their first final exams, so they proved to be useless.

            “They didn’t give me very good advice, so I just studied like an hour for each exam.”

            After polling ten freshmen, all said the Science 9 exam was the exam they were most nervous about.

            “Art was my easiest exam,” said Tillisch, “we just answered some questions about perspective and drew a face.”

            According to a census of freshmen at Arrowhead, all freshmen are still alive and breathing after their first round of final exams.

            “I didn’t do so well on my Science 9 exam, but I did okay overall,” says Tillisch, and Kornutski agreed final exams weren’t so dreadful.

            “They weren’t as bad as I thought.”
