On Saturday, May 17, the Arrowhead golfers weren’t up to par at the Waukesha Kaz Invitational at New Berlin Hills.

Heading into the tournament, the Warhawks were ranked number one and seemed to be unbeatable. Milwaukee Marquette, who won the tournament, was ranked sixth going into the tournament had something to prove. Marquette played without one of their seniors in the lineup, but still prevailed by shooting a 313.

"We played pretty well, but Marquette played a little better than we did," said Arrowhead assistant coach Greg Budzien.

Arrowhead didn’t have all their players with them either and still took second place in the by shooting a 315 and in third was Kettle Moraine, who shoot a 316.

The top Arrowhead golfer was Jake Mayer, who shot a 77, which was best for Arrowhead and eighth best in the tournament. Following Jake was Mike Sorenson with a 78; Jake Lammert, 80; Clayton Jones, 81; and Steve Sorenson, 86.
