At-a-glance

As the temperature continues to drop, these boys insist on competing in the least amount of wardrobe possible. Yes, the boys swim season is now underway, and they started it off with a bang last Thursday by annihilating the Hartford Orioles.

The meet started off with a bang as the Warhawks began a “pump-up” chant out of the locker room that was then combated by and Oriole cheer. There was not a lack of team spirit to be seen. However, only one team could come out the victor, and today Arrowhead was that team. The boy’s swam at the top of their game with setting a new pool record in the 200 freestyle relay.

After the meet was all said and done, senior Mark Burdette commented on the upcoming season by saying, “This year’s team seems very hopeful, we have a pretty solid team back this year, and anything is possible for the meets to come as long as everyone works hard and keeps their goals in mind.”
