In honor of Earth day, AHS Earth Club members met at Ice Age Trails, in an effort to help this little place we like to call home: Earth.

Sunday, April 22, AHS students helped remove garlic mustard, an invasive plant, from the entrance of Ice Age Trails.

A Junior, Alex Czoschke said, “Earth Club kicks garlic mustard’s … butt.”

Megan Woodward added, “Today is the perfect day to do this [remove garlic mustard]. The sun is out and I’m hoping on getting tan!”

Earth Club members enjoyed a picnic after their handwork and shared what they liked about the Earth.

Mr. Bisbee mentioned that he likes the earth because we would be in trouble without it.

Other students shared their favorite things about earth, which included the obvious: providing food and a place for us to live.

It is never to late to join Earth Club! The next meeting will be held on May 1. Students will help clean up North and South Campus.
