Have you had a chance to see Paul Blart: Mall Cop? If you haven’t, I recommend that you go!
The movie stars Kevin James, who takes on the lead role of Paul Blart, the mall cop.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I am a big fan of Kevin James and his movies, so when I saw the previews for this, I couldn’t wait to see it!
Okay, so in the movie, you have Paul Blart who is a single father who lives with only his daughter Maya Blart (Raini Rodriguez) and his mother (Shirley Knight). He’s lonely and wants to find love, but he keeps his feelings to himself and doesn’t want to share them in front of his family. When they ask him about it, he always denies it, but they know the truth.
One day at work, Paul drives by on his segway and sees Amy (Jayma Mays) who sells hair extensions. Well, the moment he sees her he is mesmerized, and ends up crashing on his segway. Not wanting to seem desperate for her attention, he walks up to her and smoothly buys himself some hair extensions.
Paul tries to cheer himself up after an embarassing first encounter with Amy and enters an arcade, which in my opinion had some really cool looking games in there.
Anyway, he walks into the arcade and locks the door because he doesn’t want someone to come in and see him playing and acting like a child.
Paul is rockin’ out on Guitar Hero and belting out the lyrics to “Detroit Rock City” by KISS, and while he is playing, the unthinkable happens! It is Black Friday, and “Santa’s Helpers” are actually robbers!
They take over the mall and Paul Blart is still in the arcade, completely unaware of the events that are occurring right outside the arcade. After a few moments, he realizes that the mall has been overrun by robbers, and he gets out safe and sound!
Oh no! As soon as he leaves the mall, he finds out that the girl of his dreams is one of the few hostages stuck in the mall. This begins the adventure of how Paul Blart saves the hostages, the mall, and the girl!
This movie is fun for the whole family; there is just a little bit of bad language in it. The movie was hilarious, and I think that you should buy the DVD, or at least rent it. Paul Blart: Mall Cop is a great film, and I suggest you take it for a hilarious ride.
